When the two met at a Kooks gig, Ben saw Leigh ‘move in her own way’ in the crowd and the rest was history.
After booking out almost all of her Sundays to attend wedding fairs, reluctant bride Leigh, met her photographers Alice and Diane. Making the couple feel comfortable and relaxed, Alice and Diane arranged to visit Leigh and Ben at their home to talk all things wedding.
Leigh called Woodhill her “home away from home”. Dreaming of making their wedding celebrations last as long as possible, the couple were able to spend three days at the venue with their guests.
Styling wise, Woodhill Hall was already fashioned to their specific taste, featuring a quirky and rustic feel with woodland greens and lilacs – matching perfectly with their emerald green colour scheme.
Beautiful emerald colours ran throughout the flowers, bowties and bridesmaids’ dresses while the warm tones brought a bold touch to the crisp white affair.
The Bride’s Look:
After endless searching at wedding dress shops and boutiques, Leigh found her gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown from The Wedding Dress Company in Corbridge.
Talented hair stylist from Hair House, Sophie Dailey, tailored Leigh’s curls into a formal updo. Complimenting the elegant look, make-up artist, Studio Savannah, opted for classic bridal makeup.
Words from the Bride:
“The best advice that I can pass on to any soon-to-be married couples, is to have a moment to take it all in!
Cliché as it sounds, the day really does go by in a blur, let it sink it and hold on to those memories.”
